Je Festival spending pinned at Bt42 bn

Spending during the vegetarian festival (Je Festival) is expected to hit Bt42.2 billion, a 2.9 per cent increase from Bt41 billion from last year's event, according to the survey by the University of Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The festival is slated for October 13-21.
Respondents said they would spend more this year due to the increase in food prices
The spending per head during the period is estimated at Bt9,669.
