Prawit backs crisis panel idea

Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan voiced support to PM Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha's proposal to establish the National Strategic Reform and Reconciliation Committee or the "crisis" panel.
The deputy premier said the panel would be a mechanism to help prevent the country from being stuck in a political impasse and would ensure the country move forward.
“I want people to live together happily and to see the conflicts end. From now on, [there should be] no more coup and let the political parties solve their own problems,” he said.
