The competition is part of the ongoing One Young World Summit 2015, where the winners of the Bt1-million first prize will be announced tomorrow.
The Thai teams’ ideas include a “goodies truck” that would bring commodities to low-income communities at cheaper prices. The Trawell proposal promotes sustainable tourism by assisting communities through management, while the Tidy proposal is an innovative application for recycling and garbage separation. The team has also hatched the Aroi Hoh – a food stall system for the urban poor.
