NHA governor sacked 'for benefit of agency'

National Housing Authority (NHA)'s board of directors Thursday sacked the governor before the completion of his term in June next year.

After the board meeting, board president Pichit Akrathit told reporters that Krissada Raksakul’s termination was decided for the benefit of the organisation and to prevent any impact on the NHA projects. The decision ended days of speculation that Krissada may resign from the position.
The meeting agreed that Deputy Governor Ubonwan Suebyubon will take over in an acting position until the Social Development and Human Security Minister Adul Saengsingkaew nominates a replacement and the nominee is approved by the Cabinet.
