Tourists flock to Wang Nam Kheow

About 80 per cent of over 6,000 accommodation units in Nakhon Ratchasima's Wang Nam Kheow district has been booked for the New Year holiday period.
Pongthep Malachasing, president of a tourism club in the area, expected that all units would be fully booked soon.
He expected spending to reach Bt300 million during the period.
Wang Nam Kheow is within a 2-hour drive from Bangkok, boasting the mountainous scenery and cool breeze. Long holiday periods often drew about 20,000 visitors to the destination.
