Thai shares further slide

The Stock Exchange of Thailand continued its losing streak, ending 0.25 per cent lower on Monday. At the close, the index lost 3.43 points to 1,359.70 points on turnover of Bt44.89 billion.

Foreign investors were net-sellers today, with sells outpacing purchasing by Bt2.57 billion. Combined net-sell position in November hit Bt1.48 billion, boosting the year-to-date net sells to Bt121.8 billion.
Tisco Securities said in a research note today that Thai shares could further slide downward amid heavy sell-offs of Chinese shares and lack of good news.
Still, it expects the index to head up in December.
