New hardcore BMW M4 GTS coupe reported sold out before arrival

Berlin - All 700 of BMW's revamped M4 GTS sports coupe have been sold before the hardcore car even hits the showroom, according to a report in the Dutch daily newspaper Telegraaf.

The Netherlands quota of M4 GTS cars had been entirely snapped up and buyers hoping to secure a car unspoken for in the rest of Europe or farther afield had been told they would be disappointed everywhere.
BMW would neither confirm nor deny at its German headquarters that the model is completely sold out.
With a starting price of 142,600 euros (150,000 dollars) the M4GTS is one of the most expensive BMWs that money a buy. The uprated car costs twice as much as a standard M4 coupe.
The performance of the hardcore coupe puts the M4 GTS in the supercar league.
It is also the first model to make use of BMW's new water-injection system for the twin-turbo charged 3-litre six-cylinder petrol engine.
The device makes the combustion process more efficient.
