Toyota promotes 3 Thai executives

Toyota Motor Thailand's three key functions - finance, marketing and manufacturing - will for the first time be supervised by Thai executive vice presidents.
"TMT is full of talented Thais who are ready to become high-level executives," said Kyoichi Tanada, president of TMT, Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Marketing and Sales, and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing. "This is the first time for the company to appoint Thai executive vice presidents for all key operations. It is also the first time that we will welcome a female executive."
The new EVPs are Chatchai Taveesakulvadchara, Vudhigorn Suriyachantananont and Apinont Suchewaboripont. The promotion will take effect from January 1 onwards.
