Goods price inspection starts

Thailand's Commerce Ministry has dispatched a task force to inspect food and goods prices during the New Year holiday period, to prevent overcharging on a large number of revellers.
Suchart Sinrat, an official, said that the measure is to ensure that consumers would not be overcharged amid a sharp increase in demand for some food items and goods.
Traders are also urged to clearly state goods prices
