American, 41, dies after fall from Phuket hotel
A 41-year-old American tourist fell to his death from the 17th floor of a Phuket hotel early yesterday morning.
Kathu police officers went to inspect the scene at about 4.45am and found the body of Timothy Scott Conway in a paved parking lot behind the hotel.
Conway was staying at the hotel alone. Police said there was no sign of a struggle in his room and it had not been ransacked.
Police suspect Conway either accidentally slipped and fell from the balcony or committed suicide.
