Jatuporn ‘invited’ by Army for ‘talk’

Jatuporn Promphan, the chairman of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship, was invited by seniors officers at the First Army Area for a “talk” after he repeatedly rapped the draft constitution.

An aide of Jatuporn confirmed that the red-shirt leader received a call from an Army officer at 11 am, saying the National Council for Peace and Order wanted to “invite” him to a talk at the Army Area.
When he received the call, he was about to record his YouTube TV programme.
After he got the call, Jatuporn traveled to the First Army Area immediately.
The aide said Jatuporn was still talking to Army officers at 1 pm.
Jatuporn has attacked the draft constitution as being an undemocratic one with hidden mechanisms to help the junta chief to remain in power. He vowed to campaign for Pheu Thai supporters and red-shirt people to reject the draft in the national referendum in July.
