Mercury in Loei plunges

The grass temperature at the tourist destination Ban Hinsor Scchool in the mountaintop Phu Rua district dropped to minus two Celsius degree Tuesday morning, causing the school’s football field to be covered with frozen dews.
Loei weather forecast station said the temperature on the Phurua mountaintop ranged from zero to five Celsius degrees because of the strong high pressure ridge from China. The grass temperature was lower and recorded at minus two Celsius degree.
