US embassy in Laos issues travel alert
The US Embassy in Laos has issued a travel alert and prohibited its staffs from travelling to Xaisomboun province due to recent shooting and explosion attacks.
In its Facebook page, it encouraged the US citizens to adopt the similar security measure.
The travel alert was issued following the recent shooting attacks and detonations of improvised explosive devices.
“The embassy has prohibited its personnel from travellling to Xaisomboun province and encourage US citizens to adopt similar security measure.”
The embassy did not give the detail of the attacks.
