Pheu Thai attacks charter provisions

Pheu Thai Party today issued a statement, urging for changes in several aspects of the draft constitution.

Its proposal covers the election of MPs, saying the single ballot would lead to vote buying and disadvantages to small parties. Without majority votes, Thailand will again be ruled by a coalition government.
It also attacks the provision on the prime minister qualification, saying the road is paved for an outsider.
It also criticises the attempt to block new governments from amending budgetary expenditures.
Last but not least, it criticises the Constitutional Court's increasing power over the administrative and legislature branches.
