Defence asks court to further extend appeals deadline in Koh Tao case

The defence legal team for the two Myanmar suspects of the Koh Tao murder case has requested the Surat Thani’s Samui Provincial Court’s approval for the second 30day extension period of appeal until March 24.
Nakhon Chompoochart, one of the lawyers assigned to work on the Koh Tao murder case by the Lawyers Council of Thailand, yesterday cited the reason for extension request as that his team was still gathering evidence that would be used in the appeal.
