Popular TV host Sorrayuth calls it a day

Sorrayuth Suthassanachinda, popular TV host on Channel 3, announced Thursday that he would stop his role as the main anchorman of his three news talk programmes with immediate effect.

“Starting from this evening, I’ll stop my role as TV host to prevent effects on Channel 3 and for the peace of mind for several sides. I would like to thank Channel 3 family and my fans and for all the moral support,” Sorrayut posted on his Instagram page, sorrayuth9111.
The post was reported on Channel 3.
“Till we meet again,” Sorrayuth ended the post.
The Criminal Court on Monday convicted Sorrayuth of bribery and causing Bt138 million damages to MCOT.
Several big corporations threatened to withdraw advertisements from Channel 3 if Sorrayuth continues to host his three TV programmes, a morning new talks programme on weekdays, evening news talk programme on weekdays and mid-day news talk programme on weekend.
