The compartment was connected to the air-conditioner system for better ventilation. 
	One of the migrants told the authorities that he paid Bt8,000 to a labour middleman to be smuggled to Bangkok so that he could get a job there or in surrounding provinces. 
	The bus driver, Thanathip Rattakajang, has been charged with smuggling illegal migrants. 
	The nine males and two females were sent to Mae Sot Police Station for further questioning.

11 Myanmar ‘illegals’ found on bus

A security team rounded up 11 illegal Myanmar nationals found huddled inside a double-decker bus’ luggage compartment in Tak’s Mae Sot district early yesterday morning.
