Four killed in bus crash in Nakhon Ratchasima

Four passengers were killed when a speeding Bangkok-Roi Et bus crashed into the rear of a 18-wheel truck in Nakhon Ratchasima early Friday.

Police said the accident happened at 2 am on the Mittraparp Road in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Sung None district.
The bus driver fled the scene.
Survivors told police that shortly before the crash, they heard the bus driver shout that he could not slow down the bus as the brake system malfunctioned.
The impact tore the left front side of the bus from the bus’s body. Four male passengers died at the scene.  And nine other passengers were injured, three of them severely.
