Lawyer files third appeal notice for pair accused of Koh Tao murders
The lawyer for two Myanmar men facing the death penalty for the murder of two British tourists on Koh Tao filed a third application Wednesday to extend the appeal against the sentence.
The defence lawyer submitted the request at Koh Samui Court to extend the appeal until April 22, on the grounds that the defence needed more time to gather evidence. Two Rakhine State men are currently being held in Nakhon Si Thammarat Prison.
