UDD launches centre to monitor referendum frauds

The United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) on Sunday opened a centre for monitoring against possible referendum frauds at its main centre on the 5th floor of the Imperial Lat Phrao department store.
The centre is intended to help the Election Commission observe whether the junta's volunteer trainers commit referendum frauds, the group said.
Prior to the press conference made by its chairman Jatuporn Promphan, police and military officers met Jatuporn and asked him not to hold the conference. However, Jatuporn went ahead to hold his conference.
