Japanese emperor congratulates His Majesty on 70th anniversary of reign
Japanese Emperor Akihito has sent a message to congratulate His Majesty the King of Thailand on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his reign.
“On the auspicious occasion of the 70th anniversary of your Majesty’s accession to the throne, the Empress and I have great pleasure in sending you our heartfelt congratulations. We also wish to send to your majesties the King and the Queen our sincere good wishes for your happiness as well as for the prosperity and well-being of your people,” the emperor said .
“Our thoughts are with you as we recall the pleasant memories of our attendance at the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of your Majesty’s accession to the throne in 2006”.
