DSI to file report of failed operatio to court

A source at the Department of Special Investigation claimed that the operation on Thursday went as planned although it didn’t yield the arrest of Dhammakaya Temple abbot Phra Dhammachayo and a report was being drafted to submit to the public prosecutors

Such report would affect the court’s decision of bail release later, the source said adding that it was obvious the disciples had intention to obstruct officials’ duties so DSI had recorded video clips and photos to identify such law violators to pass onto the Klong Luang Police to act against them accordingly.
The source said the agency could and was planning to apply for another search warrant soon. The source said legal actions against leading people in this obstruction would target key people possibly the abbot’s deputies. The source said the public prosecutors’ decision whether to indict Phra Dhammachayo and five others for money-laundering and ill-gotten wealth should come out in a month.
