THAI, Suvarnabhumi Airport rankings move up

Thai Airways International sees an improvement in the Skytrax global airline ranking, moving up six places to the 13th.
Last year, it was placed the 19th.
Emirates is voted the best airline.
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport also witnessed a higher ranking, from the 47th in 2015 to the 36th in 2016. In this category, Singapore Changi Airport is voted the best.
The Skytrax Awards are the global benchmark of airline excellence with over 19 million customer surveys completed worldwide by more than 104 nationalities, measuring standards across 41 key performance indicators of an airline’s frontline products and services.
The results were announced in an awards ceremony at the Paris Airshow, the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards which are described as “the Oscars of the aviation industry“.
