1,000 copies of brailled-version charte draft to be distributed

Professor Viriya Namsiripongpan, a member of the National Reform Steering Assembly, represents the network of the blinds to receive copies of constitution draft in braille for distribution.

The Constitution Drafting Commission has produced 1,000 copies of braille versions of the charter draft which will be disseminated in the 15 schools for the blinds across the country.

Viriya, also a law professor at Thammasat University, said it is very important that the braille version be produced and disseminated. Not only is it necessary that the blinds know about the constitution, but also that there are many law students in this country who are blind.
