At a polling booth in Nonthaburi's Bang Kruai district, Election Commission head Supachai Somchareon cast his vote to take part in the decision for the country's fate on the referendum day.
While he entering the station, international referendum watchdogs namely representatives from Konrad-Adenauer Foundation and election agencies from East Timor and Bhutan observe the voting process.
Supachai was the first voter of the booth in this morning. After he dropped the ballot, he urged people to come out and exercise voting rights, adding that he was not worry today's possible rain would lessen voter turnouts.
