Abhisit says he accept people’s decision but not change stand

Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva said Monday that he accepted the people’s decision that approved the charter draft in Sunday referendum.
But, Abhisit said, he would not change his stand that he rejected the draft.
He said he believed the people accepted the draft because they wanted the country move forward with reforms and with anti-corruption measures as well as wanting to leave political conflicts behind.
Abhisit said the Democrat would have to take the people’s wish into account to adjust the policies of the party.
