Commerce still working on compensation case

The Commerce Ministry is still working on making sure all the paperwork is in order before it calls for compensation in an allegedly fake government-to-government rice deal.

Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn reiterated that as it was a sensitive case involving four politicians and two former government officials, the ministry had to proceed with caution. A number of agencies were also implicated.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha had asked the ministry to settle the case before a legal deadline of next February.
