Sukampol shrugs off his impeachment
Former defence minister ACM Sukampol Suwannathat shrugged off the National Legislative Assembly’s Friday decision to impeach him, saying that the impeachment would have no impact on him because he was not interested in being involved in politics anymore.
“I am not a professional politician and I have no plan to contest future elections to become an MP,” he said.
He also claimed that he had heard there was much lobbying for the NLA members to impeach him.
