MEA strengthens community relations to mark doubly auspicious royal celebrations

The activities, which covered 18 districts under MEA’s area of responsibility, aimed to bring a number of benefits to local communities, such as improvements to the safety of the electrical distribution system including electric poles and meters, installation of LED lighting along walkways, training in the safe and efficient use of electricity, as well as vocational training. The authority also organized recreational activities for community residents, donated basic necessities and presented prizes to help foster strong and sustainable relations with community residents.
