Government to meet owners of entertainment businesses

Entertainment businesses may find out today if their operations can return to normal sooner than expected following the passing of HM the King.

Deputy Prime Minister General Tanasak Patimapragorn will chair a meeting between the command centre monitoring the situation, relevant |agencies and affected business owners to clarify guidelines, Government Spokesman Lt-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said.
Today’s meeting follows widespread complaints on social media from business owners regarding the government policy to halt outdoor activities for 30 days.
Outdoor activities were suspended from October 13, the day the King passed away. Premises on rooftops and beaches within hotel compounds were exempt.
