Public takes part in painting to honour late monarch

The public yesterday helped paint a 189-metre-long section of Bai Sema-edged fence of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 80th birthday anniversary Nakhon Ratchasima Stadium in memory of the beloved monarch who passed away on October 13, the Sports Authority of Thailand’s Region 3 Office said.
The message on the painting said, “May we be born as His Majesty’s loyal subjects in every lifetime. We prostrate with high respect to His Majesty whom we will always remember. We, all Thais, wish to be his loyal subjects in every lifetime.” The message appeared next to the image of His Majesty standing in front of the seated crowd.
