Councillor dies in plunge from 18th-floor Bangkok condo apartment

Phetchabun provincial councillor Kasapong Chawansantati, 30, fell to his death from a condominium in Bangkok's Sathorn district Monday morning.
After the alarm was raised by his girlfriend, police found Kasapong's body on the building’s ground-floor access road. There was no sign of any disturbance in the councillor’s 18th-floor apartment.
Pol Captain Apichai Seesang of Thung Makamek precinct said Kasapong's girlfriend Patraya Kulchok-at, 31, told police that she and Kasapong had gone with friends to drink beer in Ekkamai before returning to the condominium, where they had moved in after a year together.
