Cambodian, Chinese forces plan for a military drill next month

Brigade 70, a special force of Cambodia will host a military drill with Chinese counterpart in December.

76 Cambodian forces will collaborate with Chinese counterparts to run a military drill next month, said Lieutenant General Mao Sophan, commander of Brigade 70.

This was announced after Lieutenant General Mao Sophan received a Chinese Senior Military Officials at his headquarter.  

“The Brigade 70 will nominate its 76 armed personnels to joint force with their counterparts from Chinese People's Liberation Army to run a military drill-called Golden Dragon on Dec 15, 2016”, he added.

The military drill will conduct in the Cambodia Army School in Kampong province to exchange the experience and lesson learn on the humanitarian mission, emergency response, and counter terrorism, he added.
