Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan Friday expressed confidence the planned arrest of Pathum Thani-based Wat Dhammakaya abbot Phra Dhammachayo will be done according to the law, as will the legal action against him.
He was referring to deputy national police chief General Srivara Ransibrahamakul’s comment that the monk had until the end of the month to surrender to authorities to face a fresh arrest warrant involving the World Peace Valley Khao Yai monastic retreat’s alleged encroachment on state-owned land in Nakhon Ratchasima province.
