NLA told to convene ‘special’ meeting, as PM assures investors

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha confirmed Friday that the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) will convene a special meeting on Tuesday after the weekly Cabinet gathering.

In response to media questions as to whether the NLA would convene a special meeting to discuss “some special agenda”, Prayut confirmed that this meeting would be held after the Cabinet’s gathering.
“Everything follows the procedure, and every important step has remained unchanged,” he told reporters at a Bangkok hotel.
After the Cabinet meeting, he said, this “matter” would then be forwarded to the NLA. He did not elaborate.
