Southern train service suspended following heavy floods

Southern train service from Nakhon Si Thammarat's Thung Song district to other southern provinces has been suspended after heavy big flood hit the areas.

Wachara Prompet, acting Thong Song train station told Thai Rath online that high inundation still hit two rail routes; from Kokkram station in Ronpiboon district to Nakhon Si Thammarat station and from Pakklong station to Pattalung station.
Therefore the service is suspended out of fear of train derailing.
Passengers from Bangkok will be transferred to board buses at Thong Song station and taken to their destinations.
