South Korea repatriates eight lost-at-sea North Korean fishermen

Seoul - After an emergency rescue, eight lost-at-sea North Korean fishermen were repatriated by South Korea on Monday, a spokeswoman for the South Korean Unification Ministry in Seoul said.

The fishermen reportedly were returned willingly in two of their fishing boats to the inner-Korean sea border in the East Sea, where two patrol boats and two tugboats from North Korea awaited.
The fishermen were found in three boats in South Korea's exclusive economic zone. One boat was left behind.
