Huge crowds visit Thao Suranari Monument on New Year’s Eve

A large number of Nakhon Ratchasima’s residents who have been working in Bangkok and arrived in town earlier to celebrate their New Year’s Eve with their cousins visited Thao Suranari Monument on Saturday.

The provincial residents including lovers and family members bought flowers, candles and joss sticks to pay homage to Thao Suranari, better known as Grandma Mo or Ya Mo to ask for blessings during the New Year 2017, resulting in a fully-packed area at the monument.
