862 southern schools closed because of floods

Overall 862 public and private schools in the Southern Region were closed due to flood situation as of Friday.
Office of the Basic Education Commission announced that from the recent severe flooding in the Southern provinces, 566 schools in the Nakorn Si Thammarat, 163 schools in Surat Thani, and 133 schools in Phattalung were affected and had to suspend classes.
