Interior Ministry asks provincial governors to speed up help for flood victims

Interior Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Krissada Boonraj said he has instructed governors of southern provinces, district chiefs and local administrations to rush to help flood victims.
Krissada said the Comptroller General’s Department has also expanded the budget authority of governors of flood-hit provinces by Bt50 million each so that they could speed up assistance to affected people. The provinces are Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Phatthalung, Yala, Pattani, Trang and Songkhla.
