SRT works to restore rail services
The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) on Thursday was trying to speed up repair work on flood-damaged rail tracks in Prachuap Khiri Khan province’s Bang Sa Phan district.
SRT workers were working on strengthening the ground underneath the tracks in Khao Tham Ma Rong in order to support a cargo train bringing rocks that would be laid to permanently buttress the line.
The officials did not say when train services could be resumed.
