Prayut receives calls from donors in fund-raising for flood victims

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha sat down to receive phone calls from kind-hearted donors who donated cash to help southern flood victims.
The first caller, Ovart Promrattanapong, a TNN program host, to the prime minister's line pledged to give Bt10,000 for the fund.
The event was held at the Santi Maitree Building at the Government House and was broadcast live on Thai PBS from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Prayut himself donated Bt100,000 from his own coffer. PTT Plc donated Bt20 million, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand Bt20 million and Suphachai Chearavanont President and CEO of True Corporation Plc Bt10 million.
