App and website offer advice for Thais travelling abroad

Thai nationals, especially women who plan to travel to or stay in other countries, can download smartphone application “Yingthai” and visit the website www.yingthai.net for information about living overseas.
The resources are being offered by the Social Development and Human Security Ministry’s Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development (DWF).
The website and the app, available in both iOS and Android, were introduced by DWF chief Lertpanya Buranabundit during the Thursday orientation event for 100 Thai women and transvestites who were about to travel to other countries, as well as 100 officials and women rights advocates, at the Learning and Training Centre on Older Persons in Chon Buri province.
