Dhammachayo’s close aide says former abbot already fled from temple
Phra Acharn Thammasak Jaruthammo, a monk who is close to Wat Dhammakaya's former abbot Dhammachayo, said Sunday the controversial monk had already fled from the temple.
Phra Thammasak said Dhammachayo sneaked out since last Thursday when Department of Special Investigation raided the temple to search for the former abbot.
Phra Thammasak expressed his belief that Dhammachayo is hiding somewhere near the temple because he is ill and cannot travel too far.
