MEB-KTB deal to facilitate Myanmar migrants’ money transfers 

Additional service fees will not be applied, according to MEB.
The Myanmar Foreign Affairs Ministry announced that senior government officials from Myanmar and Thailand had signed a memorandum of understanding to launch money-transfer services between MEB and KTB, as well as two agreements to upgrade Dawei General Hospital and on fishing-industry cooperation. 
The agreements were signed on February 2.
The announcement said migrant workers in Thailand could transfer their salaries to MEB branches across Myanmar starting from April 3.
