Casey Affleck wins best actor Oscar for 'Manchester by the Sea'
HOLLYWOOD, United States, Feb 27, 2017 (AFP) - Casey Affleck won the Oscar for best actor on Sunday for his searing role as a man marked by tragedy in the family drama "Manchester by the Sea."
Affleck beat out a crowd that included Ryan Gosling of the musical "La La Land" as well as Andrew Garfield for "Hacksaw Ridge," Viggo Mortensen for "Captain Fantastic" and Denzel Washington for "Fences."
