Massive fire wipes out Bt30-m recycle paper at plant in Prachi Buri

A massive fire burned down a huge pile of used paper pending recycle at at plant in Prachin Buri’s Mueang district Friday night, police said.

The fire broke out at 9:30 pm at the United Paper on Prachin Buri-Ban Sang Road.
No one was injured.
The pile was about 10 metres high and about 11,000 tonnes of used papers were stored there.
Prachin Buri governor Suriya Amornrojworawut directed 24 fire engines and a bulldozer to control the blaze.
