Dhammakaya monk’s charges outlined

Phra Palat Seksan Attathamo, a monk affiliated with Pathum Thani-based Dhammakaya Temple, is facing three charges including violation of a junta order, incitement under the Criminal Code’s Article 116, and violation of the Computer Act, Royal Thai Police deputy spokesman Pol Colonel Krissana Pattanacharoen said on Wednesday.
The monk on Wednesday morning surrendered to police at the Klong Luang precinct in Pathum Thani province as per a summons to hear the charges against him.
Krissana also said police has proceeded with 340 cases against Dhammakaya Temple, 20 of which had seen warrants issued for suspects.
