Actress ‘Patt’ grilled by narcotics police

Actress Napapa “Patt” Tantrakul was questioned by the Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB) in Bangkok on Friday morning over her assets and income, including Bt30 million found in her bank account.
The move was in response to an NSB summons issued against her last week.
NSB is probing Napapa’s husband, motorbike racing star Akarakit “Benz Racing” Worarojcharoendet, after he was charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering.
It is also investigating whether Napapa’s income is linked to an illegal activity or if she knew about her husband’s alleged money laundering.
Akarakit is accused of buying a Lamborghini sports car with drug money from a network led by alleged Laotian drug kingpin Xaysana Keopimpa.
