Pramuan Larpjit, chief of provincial disaster prevention and mitigation office, said the storm and strong winds hit four villages in Tambon Buhom on Wednesday night. 
A survey by officials on Thursday found that 33 houses had been damaged during the storm. 
Officials planned to visit affected houses and provide humanitarian assistance as well as equipment for residents to repair their houses.
